I want to bring into the notice of the author of this enlightning article that never in the history has US supported enemy’s enemy just for the sake of befriednding them . Their has always been an ulterior motive , after which fulfillment that enemy’s enemy - friend, is discarded like an old technology , taking it as white elephant. Should we forget that Osama bin Laden was on the payroll of USA? Should we forget that Saddam Hussain was not only supported in Iran-Iraq war but also was supplied with chemical weapons? Should we forget that Gaddafi which used to be an anathema for USA is now seen as friend? I agree that nations don’t have friends but should this kind of hypocracy condoned? These are the questions which on being asked would clarify the USA stand more clearly
