I think the invasion of Iraq based on ensuring positive results in future cannot be anticipated but one thing is fore sure, the three-year-old invasion of Iraq actually is a disaster.

Doesn’t matter that now, the Downing Street office refuse to admit that the remarks made by Tony Blair were intentional, and say that his words are being misrepresented; we all know that it’s the truth. Of course I agree with Blair that the Iraq strategy completely failed and was anticipated because here when - ”the will of the majority for peace is displaced by the will of the minority for war.”

It’s beyond my understanding that a few Liberal Democrats are demanding Blair to resign for his remarks. It proves that they lack grit to accept the fact and settle down the problem peacefully with consent of all involved parties.

Another thing, ”Remarks won’t help” - and especially when they come too late after the actual strike of the disaster. Truly, now we can clearly see why the world leaders are not able to garner global support on the Iraq issue. It�s disaster of the most heinous kind and �self-proclaimed� World Leaders must know that - ”Leaders are not those who lead, leaders are those who create leaders!”

finally i think this passing of the bill can be termed as a new high in the India-America relationship. but the road of this new found friendship is still very hard now that bush is a sort of lame duck president the democrats will not allow bush to bask in this glory. but from the indian POV this is a heaven sent deal. to have good and cordial relationship with the worlds only superpower and the latter trusting india so much so that it is ready to part with little know how of its nuclear knowledge is a praiseworthy effort by the Indain Government.

This is just a gimmick - the Indo-US nuclear programme was to receive a green signal in the transformed senate but remains suspended� President Bush�s attempts are mere display in a senate crowded by Republicans. It is not entirely his fault there are many loophole in the programme created by the Dr. Singh�s govt. � the July proposal is different to the one in August, Which one�s appropriate remains a question?
