With so much of nuclear weapons being produced by nine countries i get really baffled on the very thought of World War III.

The united nations should do something really fast to stop this Nuke race as i think that these sorts of ammunition produced in large quantities will pretty soon make my nightmare a reality

The countdown has just started and no doubt the list will go long. The transfer of nuclear technology, whether legal or illegal, and for civilian cause or to make weapons, is a serious threat to humanity. The lust of power and to save the country are the two biggest logic behind the nuclear expansion. The life of Earth is really in danger.

Jolly, I do agree with you but do you really think UN will be able do that? What seems to me that it is just doing its run of the mill job of putting the bans and making negotiations. Did its appeals had any effect on N.Korea’s nuke test?

no one can stop these developments as all these countries have a solid reason of self defense. the only solution left is to avoid those situations which make it mandatory to use these nuclear weapons

Here by comparing between the countries mutually, CEP US is igniting the fire more furiously. Instead of sorting out the prob US is putting the matter into Hot water. But anyway i am cheering for India�.! Where India stands in this wild goose chase ��. ???

Naveen, I think that you have a point but remember that there are only 9 Nuke countries in the world and High-tech countries like Japan are out of the race, just because of the UN.

If UN weren’t there, i guess we would have has 90 nuke countries not 9 and World war III would already have happened considering the state arch rivals like India and Pakistan are going through now...

Truly said but let me know one thing then...why wasn’t UN unable to stop north Korea’s plans. This all has done nothing but given an uplift for other nations to carry on the same. UN is no doubt doing its job but we really need to look at the current scenario..n..here in the case of N.K nuke test....U.N. has achieved nothing.

jolly, you wouldn�t deny the fact that all these nine nations are developed or developing�what I mean to say here is that these countries have the means to attain this death-defying technology�though it being only a matter of time before ninety make it there� just to refute that Japan being a hi-tech state lacks the same, it�s because Japan is the only country ever to have experienced the perilous effect of the so called tech� and is well acquainted with the repercussions, which restricts it from indulging into it.

the world should understand that wt u cant do is to stop some country from going nuclear but what they can do is that make that nation more responsible so that these deadly weapons do not fall in wrong hands. the world should try to reach a aggrement as to wt should be the protocal so as to see that these weapons are not used accendently.

wt i see from the above list is that Japan will be the next nation to jump into this coveted legue as it will now be threatened by North Korea, off course Iran is still there trying to make the weapon and the world is trying to persuade it not to do it.

Tiwan can also be one nation desperate for this with increasing threats from mainland China
